Nihon Nohyaku – new subsidiary

Japanese company Nihon Nohyaku has established a South Korean subsidiary, Nichino Korea (NKR – Seoul), to focus on registration management and development of agrochemicals, among other functions. It will begin operations from April 1st.

The company notes that the new unit will allow it to better pursue business opportunities in the country, where it had been expanding its agrochemical portfolio through local partners.

Nihon Nohyaku added that the establishment of the subsidiary is unlikely to have a significant impact on the company’s financial results.

Finland - Derogation for Danitron

It has been announced by Tukes (Finish regulatory authority) that they have granted a derogation to the Finnish Association of Fruit and Berry Growers:

Danitron (Fenpyroximate) can be used against fruit tree mites in apple and pear plantations and against mites in strawberries. The product should be used once during the growing season (derogation timelines are from 01.05. - 28.08.2022).
