Nichino Europe have successfully held their 12th
Flutolanil and Pyraflufen-ethyl workshops in the city of Prague in the country
of Czechia. The venue this year was the ball room of the Grand Hotel
Bohemia a quite spectacular room for such meetings
This is an annual event held to exchange development ideas
between Nichino Europe and its European partners in order to further develop
and grow these two key molecules. The workshops were held over three days and
attended by 26 delegates representing 10 Partners responsible for 95% of the
European business for these two molecules. From Nichino Europe there were 8
delegates representing Development, Regulatory and Operations plus 3 delegates
from Nihon Nohyaku company who were visiting Europe at the time and contributed
to the workshops with interesting presentations
As some delegates are not involved with both products, the
first day-and-a-half was dedicated to the Pyraflufen-ethyl workshop followed
the next day by Flutolanil with new delegates arriving the day before.
During the three days many subjects were discussed with
presentations from partners on new developments, market and competitor product
information and results of trials work supporting each molecule. Nichino Europe
in return presented newly generated trial data, as well as regulatory updates.
